Established in 1994, the Saltires are the evergreen veterans of the Glasgow softball league. Consistent title challengers, they won the Glasgow league a record 13 times in a row! They also visit various tournaments at home and abroad as their tournament team – The Hairy Coos!

They just don’t stop!!

Except they did. The Saltires were disbanded prior to the 2025 season, just as they were due to be relegated to Division 2.
